Meet Timothy Rose

Timothy L. Rose, Ph.D., founded Productivity Consultants & Career Support Services (PCCSS), a non-profit research firm with expertise in workforce and labor policy, postsecondary transformation, career assessments, and adult education. With over 30 years of experience, Tim is an expert on veteran transition and the factors impacting sustainable transition to the civilian labor force. The firm addresses structural barriers in the workforce across race, class, and gender. PCCSS provides consulting, coaching, and evaluation that is results-driven. Additionally, the firm focuses on individual development plans and aptitude assessments impacting career choice, development, and transition of those seeking employment.

Dr. Rose has lectured in Human Resource Management courses at Clark Atlanta University over the last four years. The learning objectives align with the standards and missions of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). These standards provide critical thinking methods for scholars to exercise proficiency across all human resource management academic disciplines as applied science. The immediate goal is to deliver a pathway for scholars to receive the Society of Human Resource Management-Certification Professional designation (SHRM-CP). The impact of HR on 21st-century organizations requires a basic understanding of HR concepts.

As a lecturer, Dr. Rose is an invaluable asset to his department for classroom teaching and graduate-level advisement to master’s and doctoral scholars. In the area of research, Dr. Rose’s greatest strength is in applied research, which is evidenced by his manuscript, Finding Your Career Covenant: A Pathway To Career Purpose, May 2025—which, when published, will be a highly sought-after resource for reentry, reintegration, higher education institutions, and transitioning populations.

Timothy L. Rose, Ph.D., is a Master of Business Administration/Public Administration professor and consultant. His student-centered teaching approach engages scholars and reinforces adult learning. His teaching philosophy is “to bring each scholar closer to their reality of career purpose through professional development.” In due course, his mission is to serve adult learners in an unconditional pursuit of developing leaders and equip them to improve their communities.

With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Rose is considered one of the thought leaders in workforce development and career choice. Dr. Rose has spent 20 years consulting with nonprofits and private organizations, providing professional and leadership development. He and his wife, Kim, live in Atlanta and have three children.
